The Saint Martin Chapel stands among two large linden trees between the remains of old walls in the abandoned settlement of Zadní Paště.
Built in the 17th century as part of the Scheinosthof estate, the chapel underwent reconstruction in 1918 but fell into disrepair during the Cold War period.
Annual religious services take place at the chapel on Saint Martin's Day, with death boards nearby commemorating victims of the 1918 influenza epidemic.
The restored chapel, completed in 2011, features modern bricks, a thatched roof, and illuminated interior accessible through glass doors and windows.
The chapel marks the location of a former settlement where two farmsteads, Scheinosthof and Sallerhof, maintained extensive agricultural lands at 800 meters elevation.
