The Church of Saint Wenceslaus features a rectangular single nave structure with a semi-circular presbytery and a prism tower above its western frontage.
The current Baroque building, constructed between 1747 and 1752, replaced a Gothic church from the 14th century following designs by architect Anselm Martin Lurago.
The church preserves the legacy of Saint Wenceslaus, the Duke of Bohemia from the 10th century who strengthened Christianity throughout the Czech lands.
The church maintains regular religious services and functions under the administration of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hradec Králové.
The entrance staircase displays an optical illusion created by six saint statues arranged in a specific perspective pattern.
