Church of Saint Wenceslaus in Veliš

The Church of Saint Wenceslaus is a religious building with a rectangular nave, a semi-circular apse, and a prism-shaped tower at the west end. The structure displays architectural features typical of 18th-century baroque design.

The current structure was built between 1747 and 1752, replacing a Gothic predecessor from the 1300s following designs by architect Anselm Martin Lurago. This rebuilding shows how communities modernized their places of worship while honoring the history of their sites.
