Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is a Catholic place of worship in Starý Rožmitál with architectural elements spanning multiple periods. The premiere of the Czech Christmas Mass took place here in 1796, a composition by Jakub Jan Ryba that became a turning point in Czech music history. This performance is still celebrated as a landmark moment in the development of Czech musical culture.
