The original swimming facility at this location was established in 1910 on the right bank of the Jihlava River, marking the start of public bathing.
The building, constructed in 1934 by architect Bohuslav Fuchs, represents the functionalist architectural style prevalent during the interwar period in Czechoslovakia.
Three heated swimming pools provide year-round access for visitors, with additional facilities including a toboggan added to enhance recreational opportunities.
The building exterior displays a specific color scheme with yellow structural elements, red eaves, and blue walls, reflecting the original design intentions.
