Church of Saint Mary of Help, Baroque church in Železná Ruda, Czech Republic.

The Church of Saint Mary of Help is a Baroque church on Klostermann Square in Železná Ruda, built on a ground plan shaped like a six-pointed star and topped by a single prominent cupola. The roof is covered with shingles, and the cupola's demanding timber frame was made by carpenter Matyáš Lehner. A smaller tower with the entrance was added in the 1770s.

Wolf Heinrich Nothaft, Count of Wernberg, had the church built between 1729 and 1732 on the site of an earlier chapel. A small tower with the entrance was added in the 1770s. The interior furnishings were provided by Johann Georg Hafenbrädl.

The church holds a Marian altarpiece that is one of two copies of Lucas Cranach's Madonna and Child. Five side altars, a font of Šumava granite, a chandelier of Šumava glass and epitaph plaques of Kehlheim marble with the arms of the Hafenbrädl family complete the furnishings.

The church is open year-round and holds regular services, allowing visitors to explore the interior. Plan a visit on a day with good lighting to fully appreciate the dome details and interior features.

The church's interior holds five side altars, a font carved from Šumava granite, a chandelier of Šumava glass, and epitaph slabs of Kelheim marble bearing the coats of arms of the Hafenbrädl family. Johann Georg Hafenbrädl furnished the interior.
