Church of Saint Procopius in Stodůlky

The Church of Saint Procopius in Stodůlky is a modern structure with an elliptical nave and distinctive blue exterior walls that set it apart from traditional church architecture. The foundation stone was blessed by Pope John Paul II during his Prague visit in 1999, and the building was completed two years later. This church emerged when Prague needed new spaces for religious expression following major political changes.
