Krokodýlek, amusement park in Olomouc
Krokodýlek is an indoor amusement park in Olomouc, set inside a former industrial warehouse in the Lazce neighborhood. It covers around 3,000 square meters (32,000 sq ft) and offers more than 25 attractions, including trampolines, inflatable structures, multi-level climbing frames, a pool with pedal boats, and a large pirate ship at the center of the space.
Krokodýlek was built inside a repurposed factory building in Olomouc, with the transformation taking several years to complete. Much of the decoration, including the hand-painted murals covering the walls with ships, villages, and water scenes, took over 10 months to finish on their own.
The park is entirely indoors, which makes it a good option on rainy or cold days regardless of the season. Comfortable clothing and non-slip shoes are a good idea, since most of the attractions involve climbing, jumping, or running.
Although the park takes its name from a giant crocodile mascot, the interior is mostly themed around pirates and underwater worlds, with a full-size walkable pirate ship as the centerpiece. One of the lesser-noticed features is a large pin art panel where visitors can press their hands or face into the pins to leave a 3D impression.
