Prague Municipal Insurance Company, Art Nouveau building in Old Town, Czech Republic
The Prague Municipal Insurance Company building is an Art Nouveau structure featuring an elaborately decorated stone facade with bronze statues depicting Trade and Harvest. Ornamental details and sculptural elements cover the exterior walls, creating a richly textured appearance.
Architect Osvald Polívka designed this building in 1901 as a financial institution for Prague's growing urban center. Its construction marked an important moment in the city's architectural evolution during the early twentieth century.
