Founded in 1923 as a city museum, the institution relocated to a restored classicist building in 1968, which previously served as a glass trading center.
The museum organizes international glass engraving symposiums since 1996, connecting artists and craftspeople from different parts of the world.
Visitors can explore the museum from Tuesday to Sunday, with admission fees of 50 CZK for adults and 25 CZK for reduced tickets.
The exhibition halls feature period crystal light fixtures that create reflections on the displayed glass pieces, enhancing the visual experience.
