Weißes Schloss, Renaissance château in Ostrov, Czech Republic.
The white stone château features symmetrical windows across its facade, complemented by ornate architectural details and grand entrance gates from the 17th century.
The château was constructed between 1673 and 1679 under architect Abraham Leuthner as part of the Ostrov Castle complex for Julius Heinrich of Sachsen-Lauenburg.
The interior chambers contain wall decorations by Lazaro Maria Sanguinetti, representing the artistic preferences of European nobility during the Renaissance period.
The castle now functions as an art gallery with multiple exhibition spaces, offering visitors access to both historical architecture and contemporary art collections.
The White Gate, erected in 1690 for a noble wedding, displays the coats of arms of two prominent families and marks the entrance to the castle park.
