Rozhledna Holedná, Observation tower in Jundrov district, Brno, Czech Republic.
The steel structure rises 35 meters into the sky with 208 steps leading to an observation platform at a height of 34.32 meters.
The tower opened in December 2020 after three years of planning, following approval through Brno's participatory budget where citizens voted for its construction.
The observation tower represents a continuation of the Czech tradition of building lookout points, becoming the highest such structure in Brno.
Access to the tower remains free throughout the year, allowing visitors to climb the stairs and observe the surrounding landscape regardless of weather conditions.
Initial plans for a 20-meter wooden structure changed to steel when drone surveys indicated trees would eventually block the views of the city.
