Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk, Religious chapel in Albrechtice u Frýdlantu, Czech Republic.

The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk is a Baroque chapel from 1729 in the northern part of Albrechtice u Frýdlantu. It has a square plan with rounded corners, a bell turret on the roof, and a rectangular entrance and windows with segmental arches. Inside, a flat vault with four lunettes surrounds a shallow altar niche.

The chapel was built in 1729 after the village mayor Krištof Jahn requested permission from the authorities on 27 July 1729; approval came on 7 September 1729. It was consecrated in 1730 and recognised by the consistory on 17 April 1730 as a foundation of the village of Olbersdorf. A larger reconstruction began in 1868 and was completed on 27 June 1871 with a new slate roof.

The chapel is dedicated to Saint John of Nepomuk, and a regular service was held there twice a year from 1923, in May and at the parish fair. The usual May devotion, held every evening in May before the First World War, ended after the war. In 2000 a tin box with documents, photographs and coins from 1871–1930 was found in the dome.

The chapel stands in the northern part of Albrechtice and belongs to the Roman Catholic parish of Dětřichov u Frýdlantu, so visits and keys are arranged through the parish. The iron gate keys were handed to the Frýdlant mayor and dean after the 2000 renovation. The square plan with rounded corners and the bell turret are best seen from outside.

In 2000, during a renovation, a tin box was found in the chapel dome holding documents, photographs and coins from 1871–1930. Helena Pospíšilová translated the papers and Vladimír Limberský, who initiated the repair, turned them into a publication titled Poselství kapličky.
