Rozhledna Kunovická hůrka

Rozhledna Kunovická hůrka is a wooden observation tower near Kunovice with a viewing platform positioned several meters above ground. The structure stands within a forested area with sight lines across the surrounding hills and mountain ranges.

The tower was built in 2010 as part of an educational trail honoring Professor Rudolf Haša from Kunovice. This initiative created both a tribute to a local figure and a structured way for people to experience the surrounding landscape.

The educational path winds through farmland and forest, showing how the community connects its central area to the surrounding countryside. The route reflects how locals have traditionally used and valued both cultivated and natural spaces.

The path from Kunovice-Loučka railway station is well marked but follows hilly terrain with steady climbs throughout. Proper footwear and plenty of water are essential, and the visit fits well into a half-day outing.

On clear days, multiple mountain ranges are visible from the platform, including the Oderské vrchy and Beskydy mountains. These distant views reward hikers who visit during favorable weather conditions.
