Karel Kludský purchased the villa in 1920 and operated it as a winter base for his circus performers and animals, establishing a rare connection between this residential site and circus entertainment. Following state expropriation in 1950, the building transitioned to public use and continues to hold memories of this remarkable past.

The building now functions as Jirkov's municipal library, displaying historical circus posters and photographs documenting the Kludský family's circus legacy.

The library operates Tuesday through Saturday with separate sections for adults and children, providing internet access and study rooms for visitors. Plan time to explore the adjacent gardens and playground, which remain accessible to the public throughout the day.
