Larischův altán, Stone-and-wood gazebo in Fryštát, Karviná, Czech Republic

Larischův altán is a simple roofed gazebo with four sandstone columns and a wooden roof, standing on a larger paved base in a meadow of Božena Němcová Park in Fryštát. The columns come from the original tomb of the Larisch-Mönnich family, which stood near a castle in Solca until both were demolished in the 1950s.

The gazebo was created in the 1990s from four historically valuable sandstone columns taken from the original tomb of the Larisch-Mönnich family. That tomb and the grand castle beside it stood in the former village of Solca, in the area of today's Darkov mine, and both were demolished in the 1950s as mining subsidence began to sink the ground beneath them. The columns were reused for the new structure in Božena Němcová Park, which has since been reconstructed.

The gazebo is named after the Larisch-Mönnich noble family, whose tomb once stood near the castle in Solca. Its four sandstone columns come from that tomb, which was demolished in the 1950s along with the castle due to mining subsidence. The structure was created in the 1990s from these historic columns.

The gazebo stands on a paved platform on a meadow in Park Boženy Němcové in Fryštát, and is freely accessible all year round. The sandstone columns and wooden roof are open to view at any time of day.
