The Lincoln Mill and Mill Village Historic District encompasses industrial buildings and worker houses, located one mile from downtown Huntsville.
The mill started in 1900 as Madison Spinning Company and expanded under William Lincoln Barrell's leadership to become the largest cotton producer in Huntsville.
The district features the Historic Lowry House from 1832, alongside modern establishments including Dallas Mill Deli, Mad Malts Brewing, and specialized retail stores.
The office campus houses technology companies and start-ups, while offering various meeting spaces and event venues throughout the restored buildings.
After its closure as a textile mill in 1955, the facility transformed into office spaces used by engineers who designed the Apollo Lunar Rover.
