Batman: The Ride, Steel roller coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, United States.
Batman: The Ride is an inverted roller coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas featuring an upside-down seating arrangement throughout the journey. The coaster cycles through five inversions while traversing 2700 feet (823 meters) of track in quick succession.
The ride opened in 1999 as part of a wave of Batman-themed attractions spreading across Six Flags parks. This installation represented the sixth Batman attraction to be added to the chain's collection.
The loading station uses an industrial design inspired by Wayne Foundation aesthetics, creating a themed entrance that stands apart from other Batman attractions around the country.
The coaster seats 32 riders per train in cars specifically designed for the inverted experience. Going at quieter times of day helps you maximize rides without long waits.
During the 2014 season, the coaster ran backward, letting riders experience the five inversions from an entirely new angle. This temporary change was a rare chance to see a familiar ride from the opposite perspective.
