Kindley House

Kindley House is a two-story brick residence built in the 1870s with a stone foundation and hip roof that reflects the regional building style. The structure features an L-shaped floor plan with an attached single-story section typical of homes from that era.

Built in the 1870s with bricks sourced locally, this residence represents one of several Italianate-style homes in Benton County. The building gained recognition through its inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The National Register of Historic Places recognized the architectural and historical value of Kindley House by listing it on January 28, 1988.

The building is located on Charlotte Street in Gravette and currently serves as home to the Gravette Historical Museum. The property offers visitors a chance to see preserved local architecture from the 1870s era.

The porch displays heavy Italianate scrollwork that preserves fine craftsmanship details from the era it was built. These ornamental elements set it apart as a noteworthy example of the regional architectural style.
