Fairfield Manor

Fairfield Manor is a seven-story residential building in Fort Wayne with a rectangular footprint and red brick exterior in Colonial Revival style. The structure measures approximately 68 feet by 190 feet and displays American Craftsman features alongside Art Deco detailing in the interior spaces.

The building was constructed between 1927 and 1928 under architect Charles R. Weatherhogg as an apartment complex. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 in recognition of its architectural importance to the city.

The building brings together design elements from different architectural movements that visitors can see in the ornamental details and interior spaces. This blending reflects how early 20th century designers drew inspiration from multiple sources.

The building sits in the Fairfield neighborhood at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and South Wayne Avenue. The area is walkable and located south of downtown, where other local destinations can be reached on foot.
