Rand Hall, University building at Cornell University College of Architecture, Art, and Planning in Ithaca, US.
The three-story yellow brick building features Neoclassical design elements, an elevator, and large windows that illuminate the interior spaces throughout the day.
Constructed in 1912 by architects Gibb & Waltz, the building was named after Jasper Raymond Rand and Addison Crittenden Rand, founders of the Rand Drill Company.
The Department of Architecture at Cornell University maintains fabrication facilities in Rand Hall where students create innovative architectural projects and models.
The building contains specialized workshops, advanced equipment, and dedicated spaces where architecture students develop their technical and design capabilities.
Students manufacture a large dragon inside the ground floor workshop of Rand Hall each year before the traditional Dragon Day Parade celebration.
