Legoland Discovery Center Dallas Fort Worth, Indoor entertainment center in Grapevine, Texas, United States
Legoland Discovery Center Dallas Fort Worth is an indoor family entertainment center inside Grapevine Mills mall in Grapevine, Texas, between Dallas and Fort Worth. Its yellow entrance wall carries a sign with a red house outline above "LEGOLAND" and "DISCOVERY CENTER" in red, plus a small red LEGO square. Below, rectangular openings lead to the ticket area and displays. Inside are Lego-theme rides, a soft play area, a 4D cinema and a gift shop.
The center was established as part of the global LEGOLAND family attraction network, bringing the Danish brick-building concept to the North Texas area. This opening marked the arrival of the brand in the Dallas-Fort Worth region for families seeking indoor entertainment.
Children between ages three and nine develop spatial thinking and creative problem-solving through hands-on building activities at the center. The experience encourages imagination and allows kids to see their own designs come to life using colorful bricks.
The center sits inside Grapevine Mills mall between Dallas and Fort Worth, so allow extra time to walk from the mall parking areas to the entrance. Most rides and play zones are built for preschool and elementary-age children, and the 4D cinema shows films throughout the day, so check show times on arrival to plan around them.
Miniland holds a Lego replica of the local Dallas-Fort Worth area, one of twelve Legoland Discovery Centers worldwide since the first opened in Berlin in 2007. The center opened in March 2011 at Grapevine Mills mall.
