Grapevine Historic Museum

Grapevine Historic Museum is a local heritage museum displaying artifacts, photographs, and documents that tell the story of this Texas community since its founding. The collection covers the development and key periods that shaped the town.

The building that houses the museum was originally a hospital before being converted into exhibition space. The collection documents key phases from 1844 onward that shaped the community.

The exhibits show how railroads and farming shaped the identity of this community across generations and remain part of local memory today. Visitors see how these economic forces influenced daily life and community traditions.

The museum preserves an 1881 Chandler & Price printing press that once produced the Grapevine Sun newspaper. This working machine shows visitors how local newspapers were made in that era.
