River Tower at Christina Landing, Residential skyscraper in Wilmington, US
River Tower at Christina Landing is a 27-story residential building constructed from glass and steel along the Christina River waterfront. The structure rises approximately 295 feet and dominates the Wilmington downtown skyline with its contemporary design.
The building was completed in 2007 as part of Wilmington's riverfront development initiative and transformed the downtown area. This revitalization project converted the former industrial zone into a contemporary residential neighborhood.
The residential tower incorporates community spaces and gathering areas throughout its floors, supporting social connections among the inhabitants of downtown Wilmington.
The location sits within walking distance of Wilmington Train Station and offers good connections for transit access. The proximity to public transportation makes it easy to explore the waterfront district and surrounding neighborhoods.
The building features a rooftop pool area for residents and includes an eight-story parking structure within its footprint. This combination of recreational amenities and integrated parking is an uncommon arrangement for residential towers in the region.
