Yavapai County Courthouse, Neoclassical courthouse in downtown Prescott, United States.
The Yavapai County Courthouse exhibits granite walls, symmetrical facades, and classical columns designed by architect William N. Bowman in 1916.
The courthouse replaced an earlier 1878 brick structure that burned down in 1892, leading to the construction of the current building in 1916.
The courthouse plaza features a bronze statue of Bucky O'Neill, former Prescott mayor and Spanish-American War hero who died in battle.
Located at 120 South Cortez Street, the courthouse maintains regular operating hours and continues to function as the main judicial center for Yavapai County.
Senator Barry Goldwater launched his 1964 presidential campaign from the courthouse steps, marking a significant moment in Arizona political history.
