The Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington, was built for the 1990 Goodwill Games. Its competition natatorium holds an Olympic-sized pool 9 to 10.5 feet deep and a 25-by-17-yard diving well 17 feet deep, equipped for platform and springboard diving. A separate 25-by-15-yard recreational pool has pirate-cove features.
This swimming center opened in 1990 to host competitions for the Goodwill Games. The event established it as a venue for major water sports competitions.
The center hosts high school state swimming and diving championships for King County and Washington residents, part of how it serves the community that funded its construction. Its technical features accommodate swimming, synchronized swimming, diving and water polo, and it is open to the public for open swim, family swim, lessons and lap swim.

Swimming World published a December 2015 feature listing eleven reasons it called the center "awesome", noting its role in the careers of Olympians Nathan Adrian, Michael Phelps, Missy Franklin, Cullen Jones, Simone Manuel and Haley Anderson. Adrian is the only swimmer from Washington State on that list.
