The stadium marked its first game on April 18, 2019, when the Fayetteville Woodpeckers competed against the Carolina Mudcats in the Carolina League.
The stadium design incorporates red, gray, and black colors reflecting the U.S. Army Special Operations Command at nearby Fort Bragg military installation.
The venue contains multiple event spaces, including the AEVEX Veterans Club with 2,800 square feet for 192 guests and batting cages accommodating 150 people.
The construction project prioritized local contractors, with 83 percent of contracts awarded to Small Disadvantaged Business Enterprise groups in the Fayetteville area.
