Neptune Theatre stands at 1303 Northeast 45th Street with a Renaissance Revival brick facade and a neon-lit marquee displaying its name.
The theatre opened its doors on November 16, 1921, initially screening silent films and later transforming into a live performance venue in the 1970s.
The interior design incorporates maritime elements, including a boat-shaped concession stand, marble finishes, and statues depicting the Roman god Neptune.
The venue accommodates 800 people and presents concerts, comedy shows, film screenings, and dance performances under Seattle Theatre Group management.
From 1977 to 1991, the theatre held weekly screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, establishing a fourteen-year continuous run record.
