Everett Mutual Tower, Office building in downtown Everett, United States

The Everett Mutual Tower, also known as the Key Bank Tower, is a 203-foot (62 m) office high-rise at 2707 Colby Avenue in downtown Everett, Washington, next to the Everett Performing Arts Center. Completed in 1994, it has been the tallest building in Everett measured to its architectural tip. Its top floor holds the studios of radio stations KRKO and KKXA.

The tower was announced on May 1, 1991, as part of the Colby Square project to revive downtown Everett, designed by Seattle firm NBBJ. Construction began June 2, 1993, with the demolition of a Pay 'n Save store; the building was topped off on July 8, 1994, and tenants moved in that November. After a 1995 foreclosure by the AFL-CIO trust, Skotdal Real Estate bought it in 1997, and KeyBank acquired Everett Mutual Bank in 1998.

The top floor of the tower holds the studios of radio stations KRKO and KKXA, which broadcast from this spot above downtown Everett. The building also houses offices of KeyBank, Farmers Insurance, First American Insurance, Merrill Lynch and Skotdal Real Estate, alongside retail outlets on the lower levels.

The building is located on Colby Avenue near the Everett Performing Arts Center, making it easy to locate in the downtown area. Visitors can find it accessible during standard business hours, with elevators providing convenient access to all levels.

The site previously held a major department store from 1929 until 1969, followed by another retail establishment before the tower was built. This earlier commercial history shows how downtown areas transformed over several decades.
