Tunnel Park

Tunnel Park is a beach park along Lake Michigan with sandy shores, dunes, and picnic facilities. The grounds include open areas for swimming and recreation scattered along the waterfront.

A concrete tunnel was constructed through the sand dune in the early 1900s to link the parking area with the beach below. This structure gave the park its distinctive name and remains a defining feature.
