Sri Mahamariamman Temple, Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur
The Sri Mahamariamman Temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Founded in 1873, it is situated at edge of Chinatown in Jalan Bandar.
Influenced by South Indian architecture, its most outstanding feature is the impressive gopuram tower.
It's open daily from 6 am to 8:30 pm, with extended hours during festivals.
The temple is also known for hosting the annual Thaipusam festival.
