The name Tempurung comes from the Malay word for coconut shell, describing the shape of the surrounding limestone hills. This connection ties the cave to the landscape and its natural forms.
Four different guided tours let visitors explore up to 1.9 kilometers of passages, ranging from simple walking paths to advanced routes with water sections. Sturdy footwear and some physical preparation work well, especially for longer tours.
