Caldea, kompleks termalnych basenów leczniczych i rekreacyjnych w Andorze
Caldea is a thermal center in the Pyrenees featuring indoor and outdoor pools, multiple bathing facilities, saunas, and steam baths distributed across several levels. The water basins are fed by natural springs and maintained at comfortable temperatures for bathing.
The center opened in 1994 as part of Andorra's effort to expand tourism beyond winter sports offerings. This project transformed the country into a year-round destination rather than a seasonal ski location.
The facility draws water from local springs rich in minerals valued for their therapeutic qualities. Visitors experience the warmth as a form of self-care that fits naturally into mountain relaxation routines.
The site is easily accessible via walking trails and parking areas, making day trips from surrounding areas convenient. Morning and early afternoon visits tend to be less crowded, allowing you to enjoy the facilities more comfortably.
The structure rises roughly 80 meters with its glass exterior, making it the tallest glass building in the country. The architecture mimics water and ice crystal shapes, distinguishing it from other bathing facilities in the region.
