Santuario del Señor de Luren

Santuario del Señor de Luren is a brick church featuring three arched entrances and a neoclassical design arranged in a Latin cross pattern. At its center stands a wooden-based Christ figure, flanked by sculptures of the Virgin and Mary Magdalene within the sanctuary space.

The original chapel was built in 1556, predating the founding of the city of Ica that grew around it. Over centuries, this site developed into a significant religious center for the region.
