Jumeirah Beach Residence

Jumeirah Beach Residence is a large residential complex with 40 towers stretching roughly 1.7 kilometers along the Persian Gulf shoreline. The development includes residential buildings and hotels alongside a public waterfront promenade with shops and restaurants.

Dubai Properties launched the project in 2002 with a budget of roughly 6 billion dirhams, completing construction by 2010. The development marked a major phase of waterfront expansion in the Dubai Marina area during the city's rapid growth period.

The Walk promenade serves as a gathering space where residents from around the world meet for meals and shopping at its diverse venues. The mix of cuisines and shops reflects how people from different backgrounds share this waterfront space daily.

The complex is open to visitors, with the public promenade offering restaurants and shops easily accessible throughout the day. Early mornings and late afternoons provide the most comfortable conditions for walking along the waterfront.

From many spots in the complex, visitors can see Ain Dubai, the world's tallest observation wheel standing 250 meters high on nearby Bluewaters Island. This view changes throughout the day as lighting conditions shift, making it appear different at sunrise, midday, and sunset.
