Dubai Parks and Resorts, Entertainment complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Dubai Parks and Resorts is a leisure complex south of Dubai that brings together three theme parks and a water area within a shared precinct. Wide pathways connect the individual sections, and a central boardwalk with restaurants and shops runs through the middle.
The complex opened in late 2016 to create a multi-part leisure offer in Dubai for visitors from around the world. A football-themed park was added later, further expanding the grounds.
The names of the three main parks refer to international film studios and children's building bricks, while families from the region and from abroad gather to experience rides together. Children often use the play areas to assemble their own figures from colorful bricks, while parents sit in cafés overlooking the lagoon.
On hot days the covered sections provide shelter from the sun, while most rides remain open throughout the year. Comfortable shoes are recommended, as distances between park sections can reach several hundred meters.
The football park Real Madrid World allows visitors to experience professional club training through simulators and complete stations with tactical drills. The facility also displays jerseys and trophies from the Spanish club in dedicated showcases.
