Dubai Safari Park, Wildlife park in Al Warqa 5, United Arab Emirates.
Dubai Safari Park is a wildlife park in Al Warqa 5, Dubai, home to more than 3,000 animals representing 250 species divided into six themed zones. The facility spreads across a large site where animals are housed in recreated natural habitats.
The park opened in 2017 following a five-year construction period and was part of a broader plan to promote conservation and education in Dubai. Its creation marked a new approach to housing and presenting wildlife in the region.
Animals live in enclosures that mirror their native environments, with plantings and terrain shaped to reflect their home regions. Visitors walk through recreated landscapes and can see how different species interact with these designed habitats.
The grounds are open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM, with the last entry at 4:30 PM. Visitors should plan several hours to explore the different zones and allow time for breaks.
Children can join the Junior Ranger program, which involves completing wildlife missions during the visit. Successful participants have the chance to win educational trips to Kenya.
