Tajbeg Palace, Palace in Afghanistan
Tajbeg Palace is a grand structure located on a hill near Kabul, Afghanistan.
The palace was the site of the Soviet Union's intervention in Afghanistan in 1979.
It represents a blend of European and traditional Afghan architectural styles.
Though it's currently in ruins, plans for restoration are underway.
Despite its historical significance, the palace remains largely unknown to the outside world.
