Zeqir Ymeri Stadium

Zeqir Ymeri Stadium is a modern sports facility in Kukës with a natural grass field and concrete stands that accommodate around 5,000 spectators. The infrastructure meets high European standards required for professional football and international competitions.

The stadium was constructed between 2021 and 2022 on the grounds of the former Përparimi Stadium and opened in April 2022. This new facility represented a modernization of sporting infrastructure in northern Albania.

The stadium serves as the home ground for FK Kukësi and forms the center of the city's sports life. Match days bring crowds together, making it a focal point for local athletic pride and community gatherings.

The stadium is centrally located in Kukës and easily accessible by local roads, especially on match days when additional signage is in place. Arriving early helps secure better viewing positions and avoids lengthy queues during larger events.
