Cerro Otto

Cerro Otto is a mountain summit near San Carlos de Bariloche rising to approximately 1,400 meters above sea level. Multiple routes lead to observation areas with views of Nahuel Huapi Lake and the surrounding Andean peaks.

The mountain takes its name from Otto Goedecke, a German settler who established himself in Bariloche during the 1890s. His presence marked part of the early European settlement period in this Patagonian region.
