The Museo de Arte y Artesanía de Linares occupies a colonial-style building from 1886, featuring five main collections spread across multiple exhibition halls.

Founded in 1962 through donations from Chilean artists, the museum received official recognition in 1996 when it was declared a National Historic Monument.

The museum maintains over 3,000 pieces distributed among visual arts, folk crafts, history, anthropology, archaeology, and numismatic collections representing Chilean heritage.

Located at Valentín Letelier 572, the museum opens Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 and 15:00 to 17:30, offering free admission to all visitors.

The museum houses 1,600 folk and ethnographic objects, including an extensive collection of miniature horsehair crafts from the Rari community.
