Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, Hiking trail in Peru
The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is a hiking trail in Peru that terminates at Machu Picchu.
It was created by the Incas and is made up of three overlapping trails: Mollepata, Classic, and One Day.
Machu Picchu, the terminus of the trail, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a symbol of the Incan Empire.
The trail is closed in February for cleaning.
The trail gives hikers stunning views of the Andean mountain range.
