Gregorio de Laferrere

Gregorio de Laferrere is a city approximately 13 kilometers from Buenos Aires with a grid layout crossed by two diagonal avenues running through residential zones. Two train stations and a major national highway serve the area, linking it to surrounding communities.

The city formed in 1911 around a railway station built through the efforts of three local figures. It gained city status in 1973 and grew into a major population center in the region.
