José Amalfitani Stadium, Rugby union and football stadium in Liniers, Argentina

The stadium features a distinctive concrete structure with multiple tiers accommodating 50,000 spectators, complete with press boxes and upper stands throughout the facility.

Construction of the cement structure began in 1947, replacing a wooden stadium, and reached completion in 1951 under the leadership of Vélez Sarsfield club president José Amalfitani.

The venue functions as both the home ground for Vélez Sarsfield football club and the national stadium for Argentina's rugby team, Los Pumas.

Located near Liniers railway station, the stadium provides multiple entry points, food concessions, and designated areas for different ticket categories.

In 1969, this facility became the first South American stadium to install modern lighting systems, enabling evening matches and entertainment events.
