Paso Morales

Paso Morales is an international bridge spanning the Rio Grande with distinct lanes for passenger cars and commercial trucks. The structure links Ciudad Juarez with El Paso and handles traffic in both directions across this major border crossing.

The bridge was completed in 1967 to serve as a direct road link between the two cities. A major overhaul in 1992 expanded its capacity to accommodate increasing border traffic.

The bridge serves as a physical link between Mexican and American communities, enabling daily interactions between residents of both nations.

Arriving in early morning or late evening helps avoid longer wait times at the crossing. Keep in mind that commercial trucks face time restrictions and checking current conditions before crossing is helpful.

The bridge features FAST lanes for commercial vehicles with special documentation and Ready Lanes for vehicles equipped with RFID technology. These dedicated corridors allow faster processing for pre-registered transporters.
