Villa Pueyrredón, Residential neighborhood in northern Buenos Aires, Argentina
Villa Pueyrredón extends over 3.7 square kilometers with streets arranged in a grid pattern, bordered by Villa Urquiza and Villa Devoto neighborhoods.
The neighborhood grew around Kilometer 14 railway station, which was renamed Pueyrredón in 1907 to honor Brigadier General Juan Martín de Pueyrredón.
The Social Club Pueyrredón, founded in 1927, stands as a central gathering place where residents participate in sports and community activities.
The General Mitre Railway line connects Villa Pueyrredón directly to Retiro station, providing regular transportation to Buenos Aires central district.
The neighborhood holds the distinction of having produced numerous sports figures, including golfer Roberto DeVicenzo and football manager Alejandro Sabella.
