Autódromo Oscar Cabalén, tor wyścigowy (Argentyna)
The Autódromo Oscar Cabalén is a racing track located in the town of Alta Gracia in Córdoba Province, Argentina. The circuit measures approximately 4 kilometers in length and features 20 curves with three different layouts available for various racing events.
The project began in 1963 when about 20 motorsport enthusiasts led by José María Sola planned to create a racing venue in the region. The first race took place in 1968 as part of the Turismo Carretera series, marking the start of a long racing tradition at this location.
The track is named after Oscar Cabalén, a respected Argentine racing driver whose legacy remains important to the local motorsport community. Visitors experience how racing brings families and neighbors together across generations, creating a shared tradition.
The track is easy to reach from downtown Alta Gracia and nearby towns via provincial roads, with parking areas available near the facility. On race days, arriving early is recommended since traffic can increase and visitors can secure good spots in the grandstands.
The project started in 1963 from a small initiative on Lavalleja Street, where about 20 local motorsport enthusiasts developed their initial plans. These modest beginnings eventually led to opening one of the region's most important racing venues.
