Concórdia

Concórdia is an agricultural municipality in Santa Catarina in southern Brazil, centered on farming and meat processing. The area sits at roughly 550 meters elevation and spans around 800 square kilometers with about 75,000 residents.

The municipality was founded in 1934 after Italian and German settlers migrated into the region from Rio Grande do Sul. These immigrants brought agricultural expertise that became the foundation for the area's economic growth.

The name Concórdia reflects the founders' goal of building a harmonious community. People here blend agricultural roots with modern industry, creating a way of life based on mutual support and cooperation.
