The property, located at Rua Itápolis, received protection status from IPHAN in 1986, followed by municipal and state certifications in 1991 and 1994.
The interior layout eliminates corridors and integrates spaces, creating an open floor plan that was revolutionary for 1930s Brazilian architecture.
