Canção Nova is a Catholic community headquartered in Cachoeira Paulista, occupying 372,000 m². Its main gathering space, the Centro de Evangelização Dom João Hipólito de Moraes, is a covered stadium with a curved roof of white steel trusses and corrugated panels, thin columns, rows of white lamps, sloped concrete bleachers with two blue diagonal ramps, and a raised stage with a large screen. The site also includes the Rincão do Meu Senhor for 5,000 people and the Auditório São Paulo for 580.

The church was founded in 1978 and later received official recognition from Rome. This approval from the Holy See marked a turning point for the community's development and standing.

The name Canção Nova means "New Song" in Portuguese, taken from the hymn of the same name. The community belongs to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, and its events include prayer camps, retreats and concerts; the site averages 18 camps a year, plus Sunday Kairos meetings and Thursday adoration. Around 550,000 pilgrims visit annually.

The grounds hold chapels, a medical post, a school, restaurant, bakery, snack bar, bank outlets, religious goods shops, a guesthouse and a camping area. The covered Dom João Hipólito de Moraes center seats about 80,000, while the Rincão do Meu Senhor holds 5,000 and the São Paulo Auditorium 580. Around 18 camps are held each year, plus Sunday Kairos and Thursday adoration.
