Parque Guinle, Public park in Laranjeiras, Brazil.
The park stretches across 24,750 square meters and features a lake, pathways, lawns, and numerous tropical trees within a valley shaped like an amphitheater.
Originally constructed in the 1920s as gardens for Eduardo Guinle's mansion, which later became the official residence of Rio de Janeiro's state governor.
The park includes three residential buildings designed by architect Lucio Costa between 1948 and 1954, representing Brazilian modernist architecture.
Located near Largo do Machado metro station, the park offers children's playgrounds, exercise equipment, and trails for walking or jogging.
French landscaper Gerard Cochet designed the initial gardens, which were later modified by Roberto Burle Marx during the residential complex construction.
